Public Records

Content design for high-frequency programming

Public Records is a music venue, cultural space and independent institution based in Brooklyn, New York, known for its strong curatorial identity across music, art, architecture and community programming. This project focused on the development of a modular social media system capable of adapting to different formats, artists, events and communication needs through a flexible, scalable and recognizable visual language. The work included the design of templates, layouts, motion, typographic compositions and visual assets for club posters, lineups, schedules and editorial content — conceived as part of a broader ecosystem where consistency and experimentation could coexist. Moving away from conventional nightlife communication systems, the visual approach leaned into a more cinematic, fragmented and expressive language, using typography, scale, texture and composition as narrative tools to create a system that could continuously evolve while preserving a strong curatorial identity.
